DVDS?

I just had an idea while watching that $cientology movie, The Bridge:
Does anyone have a shitload of DVDs they're willing to burn?
Cause as well as giving out fliers, I figure we could give out some DVDs with little short videos on it, or movies...

Cause A) some people are used to the fliers by now
and B) I think people will be a little bit more intrigued by dvds, I dunno, I usually am when people give em out.

It's an interesting idea. If someone wants to do the graphics for a menu, I can do the actual assembly of the DVD menus and stuff. Then we could put some cash together and buy a pack of DVDs. You can get a 75-pack for $30, or probably even less if you want to go with cheaper ones. Which is fine since they'll probably watch it once anyway. It would cost a lot more for labels and cases, though. You can buy DVD-style cases in bulk and print inserts like flyers, if you really want to go all out.

We could throw some stuff on there too for people viewing it on their computer.

We don't need labels.

Give me the cases (Because actual dvds being handed out sucks), and the finished authored version of the image file, and i'll burn a ton of DVD's. I've got 3/4 of a stack gathering dust.

I'm gonna try and see if I understand my dvd burner (cause I barely know how to work it, haha.) and if I can figure it out I'll burn as much as i can too, I just found a pack of 100 un-opened
And those DVD-style cases are like 4 for a buck at some dollar stores, unless its cheaper to buy em in bulk, which it probably is.

I can make some perdy DVD covers. Though I first need to know if they're gonna be CD-likecases, or the thin DVD style cases.

But we need someone to author the .iso or the .m3u files. Anyone volunteering? We have a few good video editors here, i know that.

No worries, if you guys make the video, I can make a DVD out of it. If we have some text, I can create a menu system with it too.

This is a suggestion of a short kickass movie.
If we want to save time we could make a movie in french and subs in english since mostly mtl is french languaged. Once again, i can translatefag the script if you pm it to me so we can make a subtiltle option from it...

as for my mad skills, i can suggest a soundtrack, theme, montage scenario, ideas and so on... If we truly want to bring the dvd to an epic scale and warn the masses, we might have to team up with quebec to distribute it across the nation afterwards. If i get a common accord of the hivemind, i shall be the relay from mtl to quebec and back again. In the scenario we act as one on this, this will be an awesome uproar for anonymous since we can send the dvd to many medias afterwards on our behalf which might attract their attention moar and also, be a counter for the co$ who did made a dvd against us.
