Re: Need video extraction
NRR,
I've managed to get some of the video using something called VLC. It's saved in Vobis Ogg format. It appears as if the video is complete but only goes up to 2:23 on the counter despite the video being 2:29 long. The only bit that seems to be chopped off is the very beginning which is kinda fuzzed, which is no big deal. The video is available at: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BFAYKH0N
If you want to try using the Windows version of VLC, you'll have to set it to stream the video and save the streamed out put to a file. I used Ogg because it came out looking fine, whereas WMV was a mess on my Ubuntu system.

Re: Need video extraction
I don't know how I did it , but it just worked like that, maybe you're having problems because it is an .asx file... I don't know, if any of you want it send me a message with your email I'll send it.
Re: Need video extraction
Upload it to megaupload then post a link.

Re: Need video extraction
Then you don't actually have a copy saved to your desktop. Click on the icon you saved to the desktop then look under properties. If the size is a couple of hundred bytes, it's only a link to the Radio Canada website. if it's several megabytes, it's the actual video and you should be able to upload it to megaupload.

Re: Need video extraction
Ask NRR. He wanted the vid, so maybe he wants to put it in a particular spot.

OR
in the worst case scenario, get a decent screen recorder and record the fucking thing.

Here you go. Mirror to your heart's content.
It's a telesync, meaning it's a video camera recording with audio over a cable... turned out so-so, but it's better than nothing.
