aint ACTA a USA bill? also didn'T they but the brake on SOPA and PIPA, did they use the diversion to pass ACTA ?

ACTA is the european on steroide SOPA, the way the bill is create it does not matter where your from if they judge you are in violation of the bill you can be charged whatever the country youre in

They seem to be doing a very good job protesting it over there:
IMHO, protesting it over here serves no purpose (other than giving ACTA proponents an argument that "there are international pirate groups involved"). Also, it's the kind of thing best protested by individuals, not as Anonymous. Makes it too easy for the bill's proponents to label protesters as "criminals afraid of losing their piracy profits" and "hiding their identity because they fear being found out".
Seriously, the people pushing these laws just *don't get* Anonymous, they don't understand the idea, and in this case masked protests may in fact do more harm than good, IMHO.
